Project Manager (Temporary Contract)

The purpose of this role is to support in the project management across the E&C team and ensure follow up, integration within the department and out, monitoring risks and budget, setting KPI’s and developing reports.

The main responsibilities for this role include:

Strategic Responsibilities

• Establishment of a PMO office and structure to serve all projects within E&C
• Be the central repository for all project documentation, ensuring all projects are executed in line with the departmental and organizational governance structure

Operational Responsibilities

• Management of the program portfolio of projects across E&C
• Review new projects and proposed changes across Expo City to identify interdependencies and the impact on Education & Culture
• Communicate new projects and changes to E&C stakeholders to enable them to identify and assess the impact
• Support E&C project delivery and Governance function as required, including through the tracking and monitoring of overall program progress across all E&C projects and the highlighting of delays or obstacles to on time project delivery
• Monitoring of the inter-dependencies between E&C projects and between E&C projects and other Expo City initiatives and highlighting of potential delays or obstacles to progress.
• Work with E&C leads to identify and resolve delivery risks and opportunities across multiple projects within ECT
• Manage relationships with business stakeholders across Expo City
• Review Project Approval Forms with Expo City Integrated Delivery Office
  and co-ordinate ECT response to these
• Coordinate E&C projects delivery and milestone reporting with Expo City Integrated Delivery Office

6+ years’ experience Proven experience in program management as well as:

• Proven stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to manage the relationship with external stakeholders and ensure alignment of E&C goals with their requirements
• Understanding of technology project management
