Department Definition

The Real Estate and Delivery Division is responsible for the Design, Development and Build of all of Expo City infrastructure including Real Estate and Construction delivery for the Expo City. Working closely as an integrated team with the Project Management Consultants.

Opportunity Responsibilities

The Marketing Director is a strategic leader who manages the marketing process from research and planning to execution and analysis.

The main responsibilities for this role include:

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial aspects of business and drive the Real Estate Delivery’s financial strategy and planning.
  • Establish strategies that will earn profits, oversee accounting operations, produce accurate reports and improve or change current practices to increase efficiency
  • Provide strategic direction to the Finance team on the accounts of the real Estate Delivery

Operational Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing and sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services
  • Develop and manage sales/marketing operating budgets
    Responsible for achieving aggressive monthly targets
  • Manage daily growth and development of assigned campaigns
  • Plan and oversee advertising and promotion activities
    Formulate, organise and develop marketing activities by identifying the property trend and new market opportunities
    Manage social media activities with in house team and third party provider
  • Update knowledge sales related legal documentation and property management
  • Identify, qualify and cultivate new sales opportunities through multiple mediums
  • Manage overall sales and marketing activities that include market research, sales presentations, analysis of sales and marketing trend, advertising and marketing promotional events
  • Influence, communicate, motivate and inspire team members to achieve departmental objectives
  • Control the monthly update of the marketing collators to ensue highest quality standards are met
    Monitor and follow-up on specific tasks and project deliverables
  • Compile, control and monitor the budget in accordance with budget allocation/limits
  • Provide guidelines and guidance to personnel on the application of procedures
  • Handle the relationship with clients and agents locally and globally

People Responsibilities

  • Lead the team responsibly and proficiently, providing effective line management to direct reports
    Set objectives and evaluates the performance of individual direct reports and actively manages key personnel issues
  • Mentor the team about their working style, professional expertise and quality of project execution
  • Ensure that all staff acquire the required skills and knowledge through appropriate learning and development programmes
  • Embed culture and values by role modelling organisational behaviours through excellence, performance management, feedback and coaching

Skills

Proven 15 years’ experience as Marketing Director as well as:

  • Professional chartered marketer (CIM) is a plus
    BSc/BA in business administration, marketing and communications or relevant field
  • Excellent leadership and organizing skills
  • Analytical and creative thinking
  • Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills
    Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices
  • Thorough knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.) and Google Adwords
  • Customer-oriented approach with aptitude
