Manager - Finance

The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the financial operations of ENE Department ensuring compliance with financial regulations and providing strategic financial guidance to support the department's goals and objectives. This role involves overseeing budgeting, financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis.

The main responsibilities for this role include:

• Prepare E&E (Business) financial planning to deliver forecast and budget
• Business partner with key stakeholders across several functional areas
• Governance and E&E requests approvals.
• Prepare and support in managing key financial processes such as reporting, outlooks and Purchase Requisition approval, always ensuring business owners fully understand and own the expenditure under their control

Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Develop and manage the company's financial planning and budgeting processes.
• Conduct financial analysis to assess the company's performance and provide insights for decision-making.
• Prepare and present financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to senior management.

Cash Flow Management:

• Monitor cash flow and liquidity, ensuring that the organization has sufficient funds to meet its operational and financial obligations.
• Implement cash management strategies to optimize the use of available funds.

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

•  Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial statements and reports to regulatory authorities and stakeholders.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance, including coordination with external tax advisors.

Risk Management:

• Identify and assess financial risks, such as market volatility and credit risk, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Maintain insurance coverage to protect the company against various risks.

Financial Operations:

• Supervise and manage the finance team, including accounting and treasury functions.
• Streamline financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Investment and Funding Strategies:

• Analyze investment opportunities and recommend strategies for optimizing the company's financial resources.
• Evaluate and negotiate financing options, such as loans and credit facilities, when necessary.

Cost Management:

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost control measures.
• Monitor and analyze expenses to ensure they align with budgetary goals.

Financial Forecasting:

• Develop financial forecasts and models to support long-term financial planning and decision-making.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Communicate financial results and strategies to various stakeholders, including the board of directors, investors, and lenders

6+ years of experience within similar roles  as well as:6+ years of experience within similar roles  as well as:

• Bachelor University degree as a minimum, Minimum Finance qualification requirement - MBA/CMA/CIMA, ICA/ACCA or CA/CPA (Accounting & Business Management Programming and Creative production industry is a must.
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary
• Able to manage change and cope with complex and ambiguous tasks.
• Good analytics and reporting skills.
• Expert financial modeling and Experience with Accounting System Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously; well organized with excellent time management skills;
• Presentation skills is a must.
• Ability to support in the budgeting process.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
