Department Definition

As part of Expo City Dubai, the Community Management Division is responsible for providing world-class community services and customer satisfaction, in addition to managing all operational aspects of the Expo City Dubai master community, buildings and tenants, and is made up of six major departments: Community Services, Facilities Management, Security, Support Services, Community Control Room, and a Centralized Management Office. Support Services Department is accountable for all the facets related to mobility, logistics and warehouse management, overseeing services and operations of buggy, train, bike, scooters, vehicle allocation & maintenance, depot office, car parks, valet, external shuttles, distribution and delivery, furniture relocations, office movements and setups, office stock control and consumables, space requirements, storage and warehouse and etc.

Opportunity Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the role include:

Strategic Responsibilities:

  • Support the management of all matters and services relating to Parking & Shuttles;
  • Supervise and motivate the team members with integrity and foresight, in accordance with the procedures and policies to ensure that the highest standards of accountability and professionalism are delivered;
  • Support the Manager with compliance focused filing systems, with documented and supported records of actions for audit purposes relating to Parking & Shuttle services;
  • Contribute and produce Parking & Shuttle weekly and monthly reports for the management team;
  • Assist the manager in the management and monitoring of all revenue share services, namely Valet and VIP. Providing monthly data and monitoring progress targets;
  • Build a strong relationship with key stakeholders such as RTA, Dubai Police and service providers to ensure successful communication is service delivery;

 Operational Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage the planning of daily activities relating to Parking & Shuttle services to ensure accuracy and efficiency including the rostering of staff in accordance to demand;
  • Support with the development and coordination for road movement and usage of VVIP groups with security protocols whilst maintaining seamless parking and shuttle operations for the general public;
  • Report on any risks or issues and take necessary steps to mitigate identified risk;
  • Manage all Parking & Shuttle services operating supplies & equipment ensuring they are distributed within teams, and maintain inventory checks/ decommissioning of supplies at the end of each day of operations;
  • Work closely with the concourse mobility team on request and resolution assistance with in-parking additional micro mobility provisions;
  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional Parking & Shuttle services to the commercial and private tenants as well as general public by closely monitoring KPI’s SLA’s and staff performance;

 People Responsibilities:

  • Support the manager in the daily distribution of Traffic Marshals (60-100) and bus shuttle drivers and actively manage key personnel issues and monitor performance;
  • Assists in the production and delivery of all parking & shuttle related training material for initial, remedial and continuous training;

 Health and Safety Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that all company policies and procedures are adhered to, specifically including all responsibilities and accountabilities associated with the Expo City Dubai Health and Safety Policy and assurance standards;
  • Work closely with the Road authorities to ensure compliance throughout;
  • Continuously look at identifying ways to improve road and public safety within the Expo City footprint.

Skills

4+ years of professional experience within relevant industry as well as:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in a related discipline;
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship skills;
  • Ability to interact with a wide variety of stakeholders;
  • Excellent communication and writing skills;
  • Knowledge of revenue-generating transportation options;
  • Transport operations planning background;
  • Experience in working in a multi-cultural organisation, MENA region;
  • Experience in working with Government partners and stakeholders;
  • Ability to use time productively and efficiently;
  • Ability to prioritize workload and deliver in a timely manner;
  • Must be prepared to work on (possible) shift patterns which include night shifts, working during holidays, and occasional after-hours requirements.
