The Real Estate and Delivery Division is responsible for the Design, Development and Build of all of Expo City infrastructure including Real Estate and Construction delivery for the Expo City. Working closely as an integrated team with the Project Management Consultants.
Opportunity Responsibilities
The Development Manager is responsible for overseeing specific construction projects in Expo City Dubai. The post holder works with a variety of stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors and other consultants to ensure that the construction projects proceed according to schedule.
The main responsibilities for this role include:
Strategic Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development strategy for Expo City Dubai
- Support the Development Director to implement the development strategy for Expo City Dubai
- Contribute to the development and operational plans for real estate projects
Operational Responsibilities
- Manage the construction process to ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors or other consultants as required to ensure that the construction projects proceed according to the schedule
- Manage the process of receiving permits, approvals etc., through the management of relationships with key stakeholders such as DEWA, DM etc.
- Regularly report on progress, including highlighting issues and risks and providing recommendations to address these
- Manage the preparation and review of the project-specific development and design briefs to ensure alignment with Expo City Dubai's objectives
- Monitor contractor and vendor performance during the construction phase
- Coordinate and integrate the development schedules of various stakeholders into the development programme to ensure alignment with the business plan
- Update schedules, budgets, timelines, financial information etc.
- Assist developing the real estate development projects operational plan and budgets
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards
Skills
6+ years experience in the real estate industry, with at least 2 years in a management role as well as:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Real Estate Development, Construction or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Real

- Good project management skills
