Senior Associate, Insights and Analytics

Responsible for analysing a wide range of data to help in decision making. Ensure internal briefs are translated into analytical projects. Synthesising data and analysis into impactful, action-orientated reports for internal stakeholders.

The main responsibilities for this role include:

Operational Responsibilities

• Work with IFT team to enable optimized data integrations of data sources into the data warehouse in real-time or batches using data mining methods, native connectors, web scraping, building API connectors, etc.
• Work with IFT team, data engineers to perform ETL operations and data cleansing activities, in coordination with technical teams, while maintaining the integrity of the data sources, perform source verification, content validation and data de-duplication as required to transform structured and non-structured data gathered using techniques and programming models
• Work with data engineers to process both structured and unstructured data and set up automated data wrangling pipeline including the following:
• Processing of structured data coming from key source systems
• Processing of unstructured text data and images from the social media suite, contact center, surveys, mystery shopping, other internal feedback collection systems, with the help of enterprise machine learning platform (AutoML)
• Create, test and maintain a unified delivery pipeline with the key data sources integrated, data science & data analytics use cases and real-time reporting automated
• Translate business requirements into data science use cases with proper definition of objective, business and analytical scope, success KPI, risks, mitigation, quality assurance and automation plan where relevant
• With the help of the existing enterprise machine learning platform (platform that enables AutoML), develop the defined data science models, evaluate the results and report the findings with well-defined actionable insights
• Support the design and finalization of reporting templates
• Enhance reports, time to time based on stakeholder feedback & consumption
• Advise additional data to be procured for enhanced insight generation
• Provide real-time reporting capability that will provide insights and guide dynamic decisions to enhance visitor numbers, guest experience, revenues, etc.
• Maintain the end-to-end data cleaning and processing workflows, automated Machine Learning and reporting pipeline to ensure smooth reporting continuity

4 years’ experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or a similar role. as well as:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources.
• Strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.
• Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units.
• Experience and knowledge of statistical modeling techniques: GLM multiple regression, logistic regression, log-linear regression, variable selection, etc.
• Experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes.
• Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.
• Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and delegation skills.
