Portfolio Management Office team consists of various functions with unique responsibilities and requires a wide-range of administrative support and coordination to ensure efficient document control and timely action.
Opportunity Responsibilities
The Manager Ticketing will ensure a high-performing ticketing service, maximising revenue across all channels and ensuring excellent internal communication with appropriate teams across the organisation. Contribute to the budgeting, targeting, and forecasting processes for internally-produced work, enabling data-driven decision-making and foreseeing operational considerations to provide accurate projections, in collaboration with producing, marketing, and insight leads. Provide regular sales reports, advice and insights to internal stakeholders and external producers.
The main responsibilities for this role include:
Strategic Responsibilities
- Support the development of annual business plan including developing the revenue strategy specifically focusing on ticketing strategy for Firdaus Orchestra and Firdaus Studio and other concerts and events.
- Work with the Sales, Marketing teams of Firdaus Studio/Firdaus Orchestra/ Firdaus productions to develop pricing strategy to maximise revenue
- Ensure ticketing process and operation are effective and efficient and does not impact the visitor satisfaction
Operational Responsibilities
- Work closely with Expo City Dubai Ticketing team and ensure timely set up of ticketing application
- Recommend new ticket types and pricing structure
- Perform User Acceptance Testing for ticketing system and recommend changes to the system
- Manage relationships with third-party ticket agents and other platforms where tickets may be sold
- Discuss with venue management team and agree on ticketing terms and conditions. Additionally, recommend crowd management solutions
- Monitor daily tickets sales data and provide report to VP-PMO in order to facilitate decision making. Suggest innovative offer and schemes to push ticket sales
- Co-ordinate with Finance team on ticketing revenue and corresponding reports.
- Monitor the box office sale of tickets
- Work with stakeholders in securing bulk deals, partnership and sponsors
- Ensure promo codes are correctly configured in the ticketing system
- Monitor, review and report ticket usage on event date
- On event date, support operations team in addressing or resolving ticket disputes
- Request, receive and manage complimentary tickets
- Ensure there is minimal ticket breakage with respect to complimentary tickets
- Ensure compliance with ticketing manual
- Maintain CRM database for Orchestra
- Prepare a campaign report and submit to VP-PMO after end of the event
Training and mentorship
- Ensure all technical team members are offered sufficient training
- Support Sales and marketing initiatives Studio Manager & Senior Sound Engineer in fostering an efficient, productive and professional work environment
Skills
6+ years’ experience in similar role and/ or related field as well as:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Prior experience in the Event industry and ticketing operations
- Excellent knowledge of industry-related software
